Adelaide Tak Mckellar

Adelaide K. ''Tak'' (Kershaw) McKellar, 83, of 15 Mack Hill Road, died September 15, 2000 at the Elliot Hosptial. She was born in Phildelphia, PA, the daughter of the late William and Adelaide (Halkett) Kershaw and had been a Amherst resident since 1960. She was a noted real estate agent in Amherst for many years and owned TAK McKeller Broker. She was an accomplished painter and and avid fisherman. Family members include two sons, William D. McKellar, III of Mont Vernon, NH and Bruce K. McKellar of Temple, NH, a sister Margaret Bourtell of Fall Brook, California, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: An informal gathering in celebration of her life will be at the family residence from 6 to 9 PM on Thursday, September 21, at 15 Mack Hill Road, Amherst, NH Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry Street Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, is in charge of arrangements.
