Agnes E. Buck

Agnes (Betty) Elizabeth Buck, 96, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 11^th, 2023. Betty was born on March 14^th, 1927 to Eugene & Agnes May in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Betty worked for US Radium in Pennsylvania, where she met her beloved husband of 63 years, Walter (Frank) Buck.

Betty is survived by her husband Walter Buck; children Danny & Donna Buck, Dennis & Charlene Buck, Patrick & Lisa Buck, Ellie & Bryan Webb, and Julie & Matt Kfoury. She is predeceased by her daughter Amy Buck, who passed in October of 2021. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kylie, Jonathan, Ben, Erik, Erin, Abby, Allison, Kasey, and Sophie. They all have fond memories of their grandmother admiring cardinals and offering them as many fudge-striped cookies as they could eat.

Those who knew Betty will remember her love for working in her garden and sharing bouquets of her fresh flowers with family. She and her husband were also lifelong devout Catholics and were members of Catholic Parishes in MA and NH. Betty also loved baking, especially her famous Tollhouse cookies, and shopping days with her daughters, daughters-in-law, and granddaughters. There are many cherished memories of family beach vacations and visiting her hometown in Bloomsburg for the fair.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23^rd at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 207 Hemlock St. Manchester, NH. A private family burial will be held at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
