Agnes M. McLaughlin, 52, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024, in Dover, NH. She was born on June 3, 1971, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of the late William and June (Gee) McLaughlin.
Agnes began her journey in this world as an Air Force child, accompanying her father as he served his country. This early exposure to different places instilled in her a sense of adventure and an appreciation for new experiences. Throughout her life, she would move extensively around the country until finally settling down in New Hampshire for over 30 years.
In pursuit of knowledge and personal growth, Agnes pursued higher education. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and also completed her high school education at St. Thomas Aquinas in Dover, NH. Her commitment to education showcased her determination and intellectual curiosity.
Agnes had a magnetic personality that drew people towards her. She was vibrant and full of life, always seizing the moment and making the most out of every situation. Her friends from high school remained steadfast for over 35 years, a testament to the depth of her relationships and the loyalty she inspired.
One of Agnes' greatest passions was music, particularly classic rock. She had an extensive collection of vinyl records that she cherished dearly and will pass on to her daughter Toni. Agnes could often be found immersed in a good book as she was a chronic reader who devoured countless literary works. Additionally, she had a fondness for traveling, especially throughout Europe. However, she would eagerly embark on any journey that came her way.
Agnes leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family members: her mother June Mclaughlin; daughter Toni Tarara; brother Bill Mclaughlin; sister Teresa McLaughlin; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. These individuals will forever hold her dear in their hearts and continue to carry her spirit forward.
