Aileen Charlotte (Stenson) Libby, 82, died on Saturday, June 6, at her home following a long illness. She was born on January 17, 1927, in Bellingham, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Lillian (Johnson) Stenson.
Members of her family include; her children, Virginia L. Libby of Manchester with whom she resided, Barbara L. Espinola of Kingston, NH; Richard G. Libby, Jr., of Choctaw, OK; Raymond M. Libby, of West Point, NE; and Janice E. Libby of Rhode Island.
IN HER LIFE: In addition, other family members include; her son-in-law, Richard Espinola, of Kingston, NH; daughter-in-law Leslie Libby, of Choctaw, OK, daughter-in-law Karen Libby, of West Point, NE; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Christian, Michael, Daniel, Kevin, Jennifer and Alison Libby, Courtney and Jenna Espinola, and Ashley Cowell, two step-grandchildren of OK and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her close friends, Susan Labbe, Rob Thomas and Sean Noonan of Manchester, Paul and Ginny Brandis of Berwick, ME. She had a very special bond with her great-grandson Tyrone R. Libby, of Manchester. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Richard, grandsons, Jeremiah John and Benjamin Thomas Libby. She was predeceased by her sisters, Evelyn Sheehan, Vera Banaghan, and brother, Raymond J. Stenson.
Cremation services are by Phaneuf Funeral Home, in Manchester. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 12:00 PM at St. Markâs Episcopal Church, 10 Turner Avenue, Riverside, RI, followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 501 N. Broadway, Shawnee, OK 74802, or to VNA Home & Hospice, 33 S. Commercial Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mrs. Libby.
