Aime J. Huard Jr. LONDONDERRY — Aime J. Huard Jr., of Londonderry, husband of 33 years to Debra Huard, and president of Workplace Systems, Inc., in Londonderry, died suddenly Friday in a snowmobile accident at Highland Lake in Stoddard. He was 52. He was born in Manchester, N.H., the son of the late Georgette and Aime J. Huard Sr. of Londonderry. Family members include, his sisters Patricia Zeamans of Francestown; Anne O'Reilly of Manchester; Jacqueline Weaver of Corea, Maine, and Louise Lanctot of Bedford. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Huard. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Suzanne McDonald of Londonderry, and two brothers-in-law, Richard Desrochers of Pembroke, and Shawn Desrochers of Florida, in addition to many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Aime, known to family and friends as "A.J.," devoted more than 35 years to Workplace Systems, a family business. He was responsible for many of the manufacturing innovations at the industrial furniture company. A natural wit, A.J. had many interests and passions—traveling, jeep rides, movies, fireworks (the more spectacular the better), technology and electronic gadgets, reading, entertaining and cooking. He never met a crème brulee he didn't like. The last two years of his life he and Debbie spent all of their spare time at their weekend home on Highland Lake. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and the Friday night gatherings with friends at the marina. A. J. made friends wherever he went. Most of all, he loved spending time with Debbie, his daughter Jessica Logsdon and her husband, Steve, of Beverly, Mass, and his daughter Bethany, a student at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, friend and employer. He will be greatly missed. SERVICES Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Parish, 438 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
