Alan Joseph Hardwick, 48, passed away on February 3, 2022. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of Diane (Podlaski) Richard and Rick Hardwick. He shared 21 years of marriage with his wife, Tina (Siwik) Hardwick.
Alan was raised in Manchester and graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in 1992. In his younger years, he was a player and coach for Blessed Sacrament CYO Basketball and served as a counselor in the South End Latch Key program. Alan was a big New England sports fan who loved watching the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. He also enjoyed WWE wrestling, fishing, and collecting sneakers. Alan came from a tight-knit family, and he loved family gatherings and cookouts, where he would not only spend his time cooking, but also telling jokes and teasing his nieces and nephews.
Alan is survived by his wife, Tina Hardwick, and his children, Karissa, Valerie and her fiancé Stephen Hopkins, and his son Alan (AJ); his mother, Diane Richard and her husband William; his father, Rick Hardwick; his grandson, Canon; his sisters: Ricki Fitzgerald and her husband Matthew, along with their children, Logan and Ella; Angela Hardwick and her daughter, Janessa; Lori Coleman and her fiancé, Mike Sasbon, along with their children, Kayla, Lilli, Michael, and Dillon; and Valene Coleman and her fiancé, Eric LeClerc, along with their children, Alannah and Brady. Alan is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Valentine and Mary Podlaski, Ms. Gerri Overcast and James Hardwick.
Alan's visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2-7PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are Invited to attend.
