Albert J. ''Buff'' Jobin, 61, of 101 Springdale Rd, died July 4, 2002 surrounded by his loving family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Manchester on November 4, 1940, the son of Arthur A. and Edith D. (Rivett) Jobin and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He had worked for NPC for over 15 years. He was active in youth sports and was affiliated with Manchester South Little League for over 15 years as a coach and umpire. He also coached Babe Ruth baseball in Manchester for 5 years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Church. Family memebers include his wife of 31 years, Georgette (Hudon) Jobin; three sons, Jamie A. Jobin of Middleton, James B. Jobin of Deerfield and Kenneth J. Jobin of Manchester; a daughter, Heidi A. Nowe of Manchester; and four grandchildren; 8 brothers, Peter Jobin, Charles Jobin, Perley Jobin and William Jobin, all of Manchester, Paul Jobin and Edward Jobin, both of Chicago, IL, Henry Jobin and Robert Jobin, both of AZ; one sister, Eleanor Harden of Hooksett; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Jobin and two sisters, Lillian Hannon and Betty Labeauf. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 5 to 8 PM. After cremation, a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Francis Church, Litchfield. Urn burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
