Albert J.A. Laflamme, 80, of Manchester died October 5, 2014 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown.
He was born on February 9, 1934 in Manchester the son of the late George and Rose (Champagne) Laflamme. He was raised and educated in Manchester.
Mr. Laflamme served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan.
Most recently, Al worked as a manager with Nashua Riverland Corp. For many years prior he worked as a dispatcher and cab driver in Manchester.
Al enjoyed playing golf and cards. He also liked cooking and gardening. Al was an amazing storyteller who enjoyed making people laugh.
Family members include his wife of 57 years, Constance (Beliveau) Laflamme; 4 children, Janet and Stephen Morse of Gilford, William and Tracey Laflamme of Naperville, IL, Linda Laflamme of Manchester and Patricia Laflamme of Hooksett; 9 grandchildren, Rachel and Kyle Copeland, Christopher, Nicholas, Nicole, Samantha, Alexander, Garret, Isabelle and Elizabeth, brother Robert and Faye Laflamme of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, George Laflamme.
His Memorial Gathering will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on October 19th from 2 to 6PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, Belmont St, Manchester on November 8th at 10:00AM. Burial will be at later date at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
