Mr. Albert E. Lemay, 80, of Manchester died January 24, 2008 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester following a period of declining health.
He was born on July 7, 1927 in Manchester, NH the son of Napolean and Roseanna (Pomerleau) Lemay. He was raised and educated in Manchester.
For many years he worked at the Wuambec Mills in Manchester. He retired in 1989, from Anchor Electric where he had worked for many years.
He enjoyed woodworking and was known for his birdhouses. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In His Life: He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine (Dionne) Lemay of Manchester; two daughters, Lucy Gonville and her husband Don of Hooksett and Connie Tessier and her husband Paul of Manchester; three grandchildren, Brian Salyards and his wife Jen of Manchester, Paul Tessier of Manchester and Marie Engal of Vermont; three great grandchildren, Emily Salyard , Dominic Engal and Jo Engal; sister, Eva Sousa and her husband John of Manchester, former son in-law, Robert Salyards of Manchester and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Yvonne Pelow and Antoinette Deraleau.
