Albert C. Zaldivar, 50, of 5 Forest St., died June 25, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Bronx, NY on May 22, 1951, the son of Albert and Judith (Rivera) Zaldivar and had been a Manchester resident since 1988. He was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the Marine Corps League. He had worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty years, the past twelve as a Postal Manager in the Goffs Falls facility. He belonged to the Elks Club. Family memebers include his mother of NY; his wife of eighteen years, Beverly (Collins) Zaldivar; three sons, Salvatore Forte, Daniel Zaldivar and Thomas Zaldivar, all of NY; two daughters, Kathern Perreault of MA and Sandra Zaldivar of NY; two brothers, David Zaldivar of NY and Michael Zaldivar of CA; and nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Augustin Church.
