Albin E. Ekdahl

Mr. Albin “Al” E. Ekdahl Jr., 77, of Goffstown, NH died December 13, 2006 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. Born in Peabody, MA on May 3, 1929 the son of the late Albin and Irene (Dupuis) Ekdahl. He was educated in the Manchester school system. He was a lifelong resident of Goffstown. He worked as a brick layer and stone mason with the union for various companies and own his own through out his career. During the Korean War he served in the US Marine Corp. He was a member of the DAV and the American Legion. Al was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anita (Riel) Ekdahl, of Goffstown; three daughters, Donna Lee Wilson Tibbetts of Deerfield, Pamela McCurdy of Weare and Leah Little of Goffstown; two sisters, Doris Colman of Manchester and Barbara Pellerin of Hooksett; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM with his funeral service to follow at 4:00PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester. Burial will take place on Monday at 11:00AM at the NH Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen. Please meet at the cemetery.
