Alfred J. Dionne

Alfred J. Dionne, 72, of 1311 Hanover St., died August 17, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on November 15, 1928, the son of Hormidas and Aurore (Amelotte) Dionne and had been a Manchester resident all of his life. He worked for General Electric for fourteen years, retiring in 1989. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church. He was predeceased by his first wife of 39 years, Rita (Miville) Dionne who died in 1989. Family members include his wife of ten years, Joan (Chatigny) (Coughlin) Dionne; two sons, Andre Dionne of Manchester and Raymond Dionne of Goffstown; three daughters, Mrs. Scott (Aurore) Dionne-Eaton of Manchester, Mrs. Armand (Suzanne) Paquin of Goffstown and Mrs. Peter (Denise) Dionne-Mitchell of Bow; twelve grandchildren; a stepson, Francis Coughlin of Manchester; a brother, Arthur Dionne of Manchester; four sisters, Cora Hudon and Georgette Chauvette, both of Manchester; Mrs. Laurent (Marie) Miville of Hooksett and Mrs. Maurice (Doris) Couture of Goffstown; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in St. Pius X Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
