Alfred John Victorin, of Manchester, NH, passed away on February 23rd, 2024, at the age of 56. Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, on April 20, 1967, he was the son of the late Dieudonne and Agathe Victorin.
Alfred was a loving father, survived by his children Simeon, Sarah-Ann, and Zaccheus. Alfred leaves behind his siblings Alix Victorin, Trebly Victorin, and Helena Cooke. Alfred is predeceased by his brother, Gary Victorin, who passed in 1983 at age 20, and his mother, Agathe, who passed in 2020 at age 92.
Defined by responsibility and understanding, Alfred was a tough but fair man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family would want for nothing. He faced every challenge in life with admirable determination and courage.
Alfred lived a rich life and loved to tell stories about his life. Whether it was a story about his studies at Southern New Hampshire University or his service in the U.S. Army, it taught us the importance of hard work, the perils of life, or just made us laugh. All of his stories were invaluable. No matter the difficulties he faced, he was always there for us, either as a friend to hang out with or a parent to rely on. (Dad, though you are now at rest, know you will live on forever in our hearts and that we love you. Rest in peace.)
Services will be held on Monday, March 11th. Visitation will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Friends and family can come to pay their respects. After which, he will be buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 448 Donald Street, Bedford, NH, so that he may rest near his mother and brother.
