Alice E. (Lambert) Bubar, 80, formerly of 665 Dix Street, died February 28, 2007 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on June 27, 1926, the daughter of Henri and Zenilda (Gagnon) Lambert and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had worked as a sales clerk for Filenes Basement for over ten years and was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church. She was the widow of Paul Bubar who died in April of 2006 and was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Bubar who died in 2003. In Her Life: She dedicated her life to be a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her three grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin and Ryan Bubar. Family members include two sons, David Bubar of Strongsville, OH and Donald Bubar of Manchester; three grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
