Alice M. Chartier

Alice M. (Lambert) Chartier, 103, formerly of Hooksett and currently of Bedford, died February 28, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Bedford on October 21, 1903, the daughter of Hermidas and Melanie (Simard) Lambert and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She and her husband owned and operated Del’s Lunch for many years. She also worked at Derry Shoe. She was predeceased by her husband, Adelard Chartier and by a son, Andrew Chartier. Family members include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Aurore) Raymond of Bedford; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM.
