Alice F. Gauthier, 91, of Manchester NH, passed away on March 5th, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on August 8th, 1929 to the late Walter & Elizabeth (Strenk) Gale and would go on to marry her best friend and husband of over 50 years, Normand Gauthier, with whom she is surely in heaven right now.
Alice was born and raised in Massachusetts and would later move to New Hampshire where she worked as a teachers aid in the Manchester school system for over 20 years assisting children with special needs. She loved her work and the impact that she had on the children that she worked with.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Alice will remember her as a kind, generous and loving person who had a big heart and would do anything for those that she loved. Her world revolved around her son Steven and her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She also loved to tend to her flower garden, host events to bring the family together, and was a devout Catholic for her entire life. Above all else, Alice loved her family immensely, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
No services will take place at this time. Alice will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in the coming days.
