ALICE JOHNSON GREENWOOD
FREDERICKSBURG, VA -- Alice J. Greenwood, 78, a longtime resident of Littleton passed away on Friday morning, July 13, 2007, at her home in Fredericksburg, VA, with her daughter, Kathleen and son-in-law Gregory by her side.
Alice was born on February 19, 1929, a daughter to Harry and Glenna (Wagner) Johnson in Stowe, Vermont.
Mrs. Greenwood and her husband William Greenwood were life long residents of Littleton. Mrs. Greenwood, a long time teacher in Littleton, was a member of many civic and professional organizations. In retirement Alice enjoyed camping, cruising and traveling the world visiting family and friends. A social butterfly, Alice was always where the fun was, with a constant smile on her face she brought joy and humor to all who knew her. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Greenwood was preceded in death by her husband, William, and daughter, Sandra Pecor. She is survived by a son, Michael W. Greenwood of North Fort Myers, FL, and daughter, Kathleen A. and Gregory Lee of Fredericksburg, VA; two sisters, Juanita Hubbard of Lyman and Beverly Ritchotte of Twin Mtn, NH; 6 grandchildren, Lisa Whitcomb and Michelle Whitcomb of Lyme, NH, Debra Greenwood of NC, Michael R. Greenwood of North Fort Meyers, FL, Shaun M. Lee of San Antonio, TX and LT Stephen A. Lee of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by 9 great-grand children.

SERVICES A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic church, with Rev. Fr. Marcel Martel as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
