ALICE HANKS
LANDAFF --- Alice Hanks, 86, of Landaff, NH, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2003 in the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville.
She was born a daughter to Sim and Ida (Wallen) Lemay on October 31, 1916 in Lyman, NH. Alice enjoyed all the domestic duties that go along with being a homemaker. She liked cooking for her family and enjoyed picnics and fishing. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Douglas Hanks of Jackson, Maine; five daughters, Shirley Bouvier of Detroit, Michigan, Jane Holmes of Auburn, NH, Carroll Merrill of Concord, NH, Julie Ellsworth of Littleton, NH and Deborah Pierce of Lunenburg, VT; 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, and her husband, Sherley, who predeceased her on July 15, 1999 to whom she was married for 62 years.
SERVICES: There will be no services at this time. A graveside service in the Moulton Hill Cemetery is planned at the convenience of the family in the springtime.
