Alice R. Mathewson-Rivet, 86, of Manchester died January 28, 2007 at Courville in Manchester. She was born on May 23, 1920 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Oscar and Antoinette (Duperron) Villemure. She was educated in the Manchester school system. At one time she worked at Bee Bee Shoe in Manchester. For most of her life she was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She loved bingo and bowling. Mrs. Rivet loved dancing. She was a past member of the Legion Auxiliary, Sweeney Post. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Rivet who died in 1972. She is survived by her son, Richard Johnson of Warren; three daughters, Patricia Georges of Canterbury, Pauline Woodard of Manchester, and Jeanne Mason of Auburn; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Wednesday from 10:00 to Noon, with her Funeral Service at Noon. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
