Aline M. (Maurice) (Powlowsky) Tyler, 92, of Manchester, formerly of Hudson, passed away on August 5, 2024.
She was born in Lawrence, MA on August 21, 1931, the daughter of Theodore and Dolores (Monfet) Maurice and grew up in Nashua, NH. Aline worked in purchasing for much of her career, including at Horton & Hubbard, Continental Homes and Lorden Lumber. Aline enjoyed making craft jewelry and always dressed to look her best. She loved to shop and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was the widow of Peter Powlowsky, who died in 1973, with whom she raised her children in Hudson, NH. In 1988, Aline married Ralph Tyler. They lived in DeBary, FL for 28 years where she had many friends, a very active social life and liked to help with community projects. They had season passes to Disneyworld for several years and traveled the world on more than twenty cruises. Ralph died in 2021 and Aline moved back to NH to live closer to her family.
Family members include three sons and a daughter; Peter Powlowsky and his wife Mary of Hudson; Rich Powlowsky and his wife Barbara of Bedford, Jeffrey Powlowsky and his wife Judy of Laguna Beach; CA and Nancy (Powlowsky) Dame and her husband Jon of Wolfeboro; three grandchildren, Evan Powlowsky, Kate Powlowsky, and Alexander Powlowsky; a brother Robert Maurice and his wife Reine of Milford; a sister, Claire Deslauriers of Edgewater Beach, FL. She is predeceased by her sister Shirley and brother Russell. She had many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Monday, August 12th from 5 to 7 PM. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 13th at 10 AM in St. John’s Church, Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson.
