Alkis Moutsioulis, 79, of Manchester, died November 2, 2005, at his home. He was born in Greece on September 12, 1926, the son of the late George and Soultana (Tzimourangas) Moutsioulis and imigrated to the U.S.in 1970.He was very proud of his Greek heritage and his U.S. Citizenship. He served as a Sargeant in the Greek Army. Mr. Moutsioulis worked 25 years for Amoskeag Leather in Manchester. He retired in 1992, from Granite State Packing. He was very caring for his relatives and friends. and he loved animals, especially his cats and his fish. Alkis tended to his own grapevines from which he made his own wine. He also kept peach trees. He was a member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and the Fourka Society. Alkis was full of life and always had a smile on his face. He always had something nice to say about the people he knew. He will be missed by all of his friends, relatives and family. Family members include his wife of 47 years, Despo (Makris) Moutsioulis, his son, George Moutsioulis, his daughter, Susan Moutsioulis, all of Manchester, two sisters; Mrs. Androniki Florou and Mrs. Efigiania Giotas, both of Manchester, several nieces and nephews both here and in Greece. SERVICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, on Sunday evening from 4 to 8 O'Clock, with the Trisagion Service in the funeral home at 7 PM, with The Reverend Peter Kyroakos, officiating. The Funeral Service will be held at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church on Monday morning the 7th at 11 O'Clock with The Reverend Peter Kyroakos, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
