Colonel Allan G. White, 60, of 14 Chatham Drive, Bedford, died May 25, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Nashua on March 26, 1941, the son of Donald G. and Julianna (Jensen) White and had lived for over 30 years in North Hampton before recently moving to Bedford. He was a Vietnam War Air Force Veteran and had served in the New Hampshire AirNational Guard for over 30 years. Prior to his illness, he had been employed by the Defense Commissary Agency (DECA). He was a private airplane pilot and loved airplanes. He was a avid golfer. He was predeceased by his mother, who died in March of this year. Family memebers include his father of Nashua; his wife of 35 years, Joy (Andrews) White; a son, John White of Bedford; two grandchildren, Andrew and Rebecca White of Bedford; three sisters, Mrs. Gary (Donna) Pittman of Burlington, VT, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Austin of Moultonboro and Mrs. James (Brenda) Sargent of New London; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Monday morning at 10:00 AM. After cremation, urn burial with military honors will take place in Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM.
