LITTLETON, NH -- Allen A. Ruggles, age 66, passed away on May 8, 2006 at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
A native of Littleton, Allen was born on May 14, 1939, a son to Abbott and Mildred (Blodgett) Ruggles. He graduated from Littleton High School, class of 1957 as Class President and Valedictorian.
Allen joined the United States Air Force in 1958 and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1978. He and Delores were married in 1989. Allen loved to do gardening and fishing of all types. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to watch the races.
Allen leaves his wife, Delores (Firoe) Ruggles of Littleton, NH; a daughter, Emerie Combs and husband, Gerald of Pikeville, NC; a son, David Ruggles and wife, Debbie of Henderson, NC; a daughter, Valerie Brooks, of Littleton, NH, seven grandchildren; and a sister, Faye Merchant and husband, Leslie of Littleton, NH.
SERVICES Private funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11th at the Pillsbury Funeral Homes Littleton Chapel with Pastor Ernie Gault officiating. Burial in the Glenwood Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the V.F.W. Howard Shawney Post #816 of Littleton.
