Alphonse Remillard, 79, of 64 Nut Street, Auburn, died July 26, 2001, in the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Dexter, Maine on February 16, 1922, the son of Napoleon and Amanda (Lambert) Remillard. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran, 1st Division, 7 Campaigns. He retired from J.W. Greer Manufacturing Company with 33 years of service. Alphonse was a wonderful dad and a down to earth man. Family members include his wife of 55 years Jeannette (Mercier) Remillard of Auburn, three sons, Ronald Remillard, Gerry Remillard, both of Manchester and Allen Remillard of Allenstown, two daughters, Priscilla Remillard of Auburn and Elaine Angwin of Manchester, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Vernon Remillard of Brighton, MA., several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Peter Church.
