LISBON, NH Althea Harriet (Aldrich) Wright, 77, known to her family and friends as Alka, of Pine Knoll Terrace, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
A native of Lisbon, Althea was born a daughter to Leslie and Florence (Leavitt) Aldrich on September 19, 1927.
Althea was married to William T. Wright VI on November 30, 1946. She was employed over the years by the Brush Handle Factory, Connors Footwear, and the Montgomery Wire Mill.
Surviving family members include one daughter, Cheryl Blay; two granddaughters, Casey Blay and Amanda Wright; two grandsons, Waylon Blay and Jammie Blay; two sisters, Crystal Curley of Bristol and Sally Lucio of Woodsville; five great-grandchildren, William T. Wright VIII, Miranda Wright, Tyler Sandville, Rylie Sandville, and Tristen Sandville; two nieces, Cindy and Steph; and six nephews, Mark, Michael, Johnny, Robert, Berry, and Brian. Her husband, William T. Wright VI and son William T. Wright VII predeceased her.
SERVICES The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 77 South Main Street, Lisbon, NH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Lyn O. McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery.
