Amelia A. “Robbie” (Robinson) Tompkins, 94, died peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Brookdale Spruce Wood Senior Living in Durham, NH. She was born on January 18, 1929, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Frederick G. and Elizabeth (Downie) Robinson.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Tompkins who passed away in 2015. Ralph and Amelia were married on June 19, 1983, in Goffstown, NH. They lived happily together for 32 years, sharing their life together in Newport, NH, Tempe, AZ, Candia, NH and finally residing in Beford, NH in their later years.

Amelia retired from work at Public Service of NH (PSNH) in Manchester, NH. Prior to her years at PSNH, Robbie owned and managed the Mast Road Health Center in Pinardville, NH for over ten years with her first husband, Maurice Brunelle. She enjoyed keeping healthy, exercising and leading classes to help other women achieve their fitness goals.

Robbie was loved by all who knew her. She had a big heart and greeted everyone with a smile. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed time outdoors, going for long walks with friends or just sitting outside with her neighbors chatting about the day.

In addition to her parents and second husband, Robbie was predeceased by her brothers, William and Frederick J. Robinson and her sister, Hazel MacDonald.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Davis of Sun Lakes, AZ; her son, Erick Brunelle and his wife, Liz of Portsmouth, NH and their daughters, Greta and Ava Brunelle; her stepdaughter, Kathy Carroll and her husband, Shaun of Sunapee, NH and their children, Ashleigh and Shaun Carroll, III; and her great grandson, Elliut Ornelas, the son of Ashleigh.

SERVICES: A celebration of life service and burial will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00am at the Pine Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, 765 Brown Avenue, Manchester, NH 03103. Family and friends are invited to attend.
