Anastasia (Rivanis) Lalos , 72, died Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH after a two year battle with cancer.

She was born on January 15, 1954 in Kydonies, Greece, the daughter of Aristeidis Rivanis and Konstantinia (Kyratzopoulou) Rivanis. Anastasia was the wife of Paul Lalos. They were married on January 15, 1978 in Vouchorina, Greece. When she came to the US from Greece in 1978, she held jobs in the restaurant, textile (stitching) and logistics industries until she retired.

Anastasia has always been a strong woman and she continued to be strong up until her final days. Although she went through a lot over the past two years, she never forgot to ask you how you were doing. She will be remembered for her love of scratch tickets, knitting, antiquing, and spending time with her family, including her cat, Bubba Jovi. She was also a well respected member of the St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral community.

Anastasia is predeceased by her brother, Christos Rivanis. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul Lalos, her daughter, Georgia Demers, son-in-law Roger Demers and granddaughter, Madison Demers, as well as her siblings that all reside in Greece (Chrysoula Rivani-Empeslidou, Panagiota Rivani-Apostolou, Giannoula Rivani-Stamopoulou and Vasileios Rivanis, her twin brother) and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Committal prayers and interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester, NH.
