Anatole L. "Tony" Bell, 75, of Manchester, died January 20, 2009, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on September 18, 1933, the son of Leo G. and Sonia (Giguere) Bell and had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He was a self described wild young man who settled down when he married his long time love, Carole, devoting his life to their family together and eventually owning his own successful commercial carpet company. Family members his wife of 53 years, Carole A. (Dachowski) Bell of Manchester; two sons, Roger Bell of Winooski, Vermont and Ricky Bell of Manchester; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Susan) Phaneuf of Hooksett, seven grandchildren, Jesse, Candace, Jamie, Nicholas, Cheryl, Hilary and Kristy; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Madyson; two brothers Donald Bell and Leo Bell, both of Manchester; two sisters; Mrs. Robert (Jeannine) Lemire of Manchester and Mrs. Glen ( Jacklyn) Kierstead of Colorado, several nieces, nephew and cousins. SERVICES: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, January 24, 2009, at 11 o'clock in St. Anthony Church, Manchester, NH.
