Andre Lafreniere, 70, of 199 Manchester Street, died October 28, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Canada on May 14, 1931, the son of the late Stanley and Rosa (Lebel) Lafreniere and had been a resident of Manchester for over 20 years. He was a self employed auto repairman for many years and an amateur boxer. Andre was a member of the Knight of Colombus and had worked for the Salvation Army. Family members include a son, Mark Lafreniere Weiner, a daughter Tracy Lafreniere, both of Manchester, three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church. Donation may be made to the Soup Kitchen New Horizon, 199 Manchester Street, Manchester, NH 03103. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, is in charge of arrangements.
