Andrew James Gordon, Jr., 68, of 401 Boynton Street, Bedford, died March 21, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Manchester on May 6, 1931, the son of Ruth Gordon and the late Andrew James Gordon, Sr., and had been a resident of Raymond for many years before moving to Bedford 33 years ago. He was a US Marine Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, was a POW and was awarded the Purple Heart. Andrew was a mechanic for Merchants Motors for 31 years retiring in 1997. Family members include his wife of 33 years, Yvonne (LeMieux) Gordon of Bedford, a daughter, Mrs. Joshua (Jennifer) Parker of Goffstown, his mother of Hooksett, four brothers, Richard Gordon, David Gordon, Dana Gordon and Peter Gordon, three sisters, Anita Davis, Jean Maulton and Carol Drake, all of New Hampshire, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A Calling hour is at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Friday morning from 10 to 11 o'clock with a service immediately following at 11 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
