Andrew "Andy" Perkins of Manchester, NH, passed away in his Manchester home on December 14th, 2018. Born on August 29th, 1972 to Joseph Perkins Sr. & Susan Taylor, Andy would go on to spend the majority of his life in the Manchester area. In 1996, Andy would marry the love of his life, Linda, with whom he shared 22 years of loving marriage.
Known around his community as "Handy Andy", Andy would use his passion and understanding of fixing anything that was broken to propel his career as a seasoned mechanic. In addition to fixing cars, Andy took great pride and pleasure in repairing anything for his family, friends and community, and was always willing to help anyone in need. His kindness and generosity will not be soon forgotten.
A true socialite, Andy loved meeting and talking with friends and strangers alike, and was often lauded as kind and easy to get along with. He was a generous, outgoing, easy going jokester who was full of stories that he was willing to share with anyone. He will be remembered for his passion for camping in Franconia Notch, his love for dogs, and above all, his deep love for his family, who will miss him immensely.
Andy is survived by his wife Linda Perkins; mother Susan Taylor; daughter Felisha Baron; son Zachary Vadnais; son Andrew Joseph Perkins Jr; daughter Brytney Vadnais; twin brother Joseph Perkins Jr; sister Lisa Devine; Sister Laurie Baillio; and brother Scott Rogers. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Perkins Sr.; and his beloved Pitbull Snickers, with whom he is likely playing ball with in heaven right now.
A wake in remembrance of Andy's life will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes at 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH.
