Androniky "Niky" A. O'Neil, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2018 in the comfort of her own home.
Born in Manchester, she is the daughter of the late Arthur and Evlalia (Rodanas) Pinas. Affectionately known as Niky, she was raised and educated in Manchester and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of 1944. She attended Leland Powers School in Boston. In her younger years, Niky worked in advertising and scheduling for WFEA where she met the late radio broadcaster, Charles O'Neil. They were married for 36 years until his death. A successful realtor, Niky was an active real estate agent and broker for over 40 years. She was a longtime member of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors.
A beloved wife, mother, neighbor, and friend, Niky's family and friends were paramount in her life. She was a longtime and active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She participated in church events. Niky was quick friends with anyone she met. She cherished those special friendships that she shared with her dear friends and neighbors. Niky will be best remembered for her tireless energy, resolve, feisty spirit and generous heart.
Niky is survived by her daughter, Anna Lewis and husband Ken Lewis of Saratoga Springs, NY; son, Arthur O'Neil and wife Maria (Tzianabos) of South Portland, Maine; her two yellow lab grand dogs who she loved so much, Anesti and Senja; several cousins, extended family and friends locally and in Greece. In addition to her parents, Niky was predeceased by her husband, Charles.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Tuesday, April 3, from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. with the Trisagion Service at 6:00P.M. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St., Manchester on Wednesday, April 4 at 11:00A.M. followed by a Committal Service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Ave., Manchester. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Niky's memory to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
