Anita L. Nolan, 73, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2021. Born in Sioux Falls, SD on March 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late William and Louise (Ranger) Sawyer.
Anita was born into a military family and her early years were spent in various places around the country. Eventually, they settled in New York where she lived for many years and raised her family. Later in life, she lived in New Hampshire with her partner, Mary. Anita enjoyed spending time at Hampton Beach, reading and playing games on her computer. She was a fan of Tweety Bird and dolphins. Anita was stubborn and loved to give her family a hard time. She was a loving partner, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished time spent with family.
Anita is survived by her partner of 31 years, Mary Touzin of Manchester; her daughters, Brenda Wilson and husband David Poulin of Amherst and Kristina Cunningham of Manchester; her brother, David Sawyer of South Carolina; her sister, Irene Lewis and husband Chuck of Belmont; her grandchildren, David Poulin, Trina Cunningham, Cody, Sean and Tanner Harris, and Kirsten Cunningham; as well as 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Sawyer.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 6th at 10am at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester.
