Ann W. Eibe, 96, passed away on April 26, 2020. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on August 20, 1923, she was the only child of the late Louis and Mildred (Hucovic) Nemek. She shared 20 years of marriage with her late husband, Eugene Eibe, who passed away in 1993.
Ann was raised and educated in Schenectady, NY, where she also raised her family and worked in retail. She was the devoted mother of three children, Angel, Paul and Peter. In the 1960's, Ann moved to New Orleans with her husband and youngest son, where she worked as a check printer assembly clerk. Ann lived in New Orleans for 36 years, eventually having to relocate to Phoenix, AZ after Hurricane Katrina. In 2014, Ann moved to New Hampshire to be closer to family.
In her younger years, Ann was an avid dancer who was especially talented in tap dance. She had a soft spot for animals and cared for many cats and dogs over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and reading romance and mystery novels.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Angel Ryan and her husband Carlos and her son, Paul Savel, as well as 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Peter Savel.
Ann's services will be held privately.
