Ann Patricia (Flaherty) Kelly, 91, died Friday, June 1, 2018, in Manchester, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1926, in Nashua, NH, to Mary (Birmingham) and Paul Flaherty.
Ann graduated from Nashua High School and the Elliot School of Nursing, Class of 1950. On February 3, 1951, Ann married James D. Kelly (deceased 12/9/88), in Manchester, NH and they had 5 children.
Ann worked the polls at Saint Catherines & volunteered at the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Elliot Hospital Alumni Association. Ann had a well-developed sense of humor and was very thoughtful. She cared about animals. She returned to nursing in 1986 & retired 4 months shy of her 80th birthday.
She is predeceased by her Flaherty siblings: Robert, Mary, Helen and Ruth.
She is survived by her brother, Francis Flaherty & by her five children: (1) Jo-Ann Kelly & spouse Don Levesque: 2 sons Brendan & Colin; (2) Kelly Lindahl & spouse Jeff: son Alexander; (3) Judith Gola & spouse Dan: Judy's son: Erik Kelly; (4) James Kelly and spouse Kelly (Burbank): children Kennedy & Caden; and (5) John Kelly and spouse Dana: children Katie & Jack; John's children: Meghan & Ryan. Ann cherished her friends and also her nieces, nephews & great grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church, 207 Hemlock Street, in Manchester, NH. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, 276 Donald Street, in Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
