Anna L. (Brown) Arcand, 71, of Manchester, died January 22, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare Center in Bedford. She was born in Nashville, TN on April 5, 1933, the daughter of George and Chora Brown and had been a Manchester resident for over fifty years. She had worked in the housekeeping department at New Hampshire College for eight years until her retirement. She was a wonderful southern cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to country and western music and to Elvis. She loved spending time with her family and also with her three cats. Family members include her companion of over 35 years, Herve Dubord of Manchester; five sons, James Webb of Manchester, Michael Webb of TN, Gary Webb of Manchester, Marshall Buckley of TN and Anthony Buckley, Jr., of TN; five daughters, Carolyn Methot of Manchester, Bobbyann Buckley and Theresa Buckley of TN, Cherie St. Pierre of Manchester and Tammy Buckley of TN; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters in TN; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 PM.
