Annette A. Blanchette, 77, lifelong resident of Manchester, died on August 13, 2023 at the Community Hospice House. Born in Manchester on May 13, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Jeanne (Croteau) Champagne. She shared the past 60 years with her husband of 57 years, Roland (Tank) Blanchette.
Annette was a 1964 graduate of St. George High School. She had a long career in banking and worked for St. Mary’s Credit Union and Amoskeag Bank for many years. She was a member of the Suncook Women’s Bowling League, the Time Traveler’s Car Club, and AlAnon. She loved spending time at the beach and in her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting and made many cherished gifts for her loved ones, including afghans, dolls and sweaters.
Annette is survived by her husband, Roland (Tank) Blanchette of Manchester; her son, Matthew Blanchette and his wife Rita of Hampstead; her sisters, Jeannine Couture and Francoise Dittbenner and her husband Ike, all of Manchester; her sister-in-law, Lucille Verville of Allenstown; her grandchildren, Xander, Tank and Luke Blanchette; her great-grandchildren, Ruari and Liam; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Marcel Champagne.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 24th at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
