Annette R. Landry

Annette R. (Fredette) Landry, age 93, of Manchester, NH died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford. She was the widow of the late Joseph A. Landry. She was born Feb. 12, 1917 in St. Pierre Baptist, PQ , Canada. She was the daughter of Adelard and Rosalie (Laverdiere) Fredette. She moved to the United States at a young age and was a long time resident of Manchester, NH. Prior to her marriage she worked as a hairdresser in the Manchester area at Houle's Beauty Salon. She is remembered for her excellent ability as a seamstress. She especially enjoyed reading French magazines, music, walking and spending time with the family. She was a loving mother and mémère. IN HER LIFE: She is survived by her son Roger H. Landry of Manchester, NH; three daughters, Diane L. Donahue and her husband Michael of North Hampton; NH, Lisa A. Lemire and her husband Brent of Litchfield, NH; Jane L. Gardner and her husband James of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, Sarah and Kerry Donahue, Matthew Lemire, Ryan and Andrew Gardner; and a brother, Antonio 'Tony' Fredette of South Carolina. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 1:00pm in the Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace Street, Manchester, NH. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 3:00 – 7:00pm in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, Coolidge Avenue, Manchester, NH. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the charity of one's choice.
