Annette D. Pineault, passed away June 5, 2016 at the age of 88 years.
Annette was born in Hartford, CT. May 2, 1928, to George and Delores Desrochers. After her marriage to the late Alfred J. Pineault in 1947, she moved to her husband's home town, Manchester, NH and worked as an executive assistant for the New Hampshire Insurance Company until starting her family. She also worked for Jordan Marsh in the billing department and then retired from Citizen's Bank in 2005 at the age of 76.
She and her husband Fred, enjoyed their children and grandchildren, socializing with friends and family, dining and dancing with friends, and traveling.
Annette was a true friend to many and always looked forward to lunches, shopping expeditions and drives to the seashore or the mountains. Genealogy research was a favorite hobby and she was able to trace family origins back to Orleans, France. She loved to knit and and was an accomplished seamstress, creating lovely garments for her family. She was an excellent cook and her house was always a lively gathering place for her family and friends. When she found time to relax she played Sudoko and did research on her i-Pad.
She enjoyed an active lifestyle and she journeyed to Alaska many times over the years to visit family and friends and her most recent trip to Alaska was in June of last year. Annette always looked forward to an annual camping trip with her children over Columbus Day weekend to Dolly Copp Campground in the White Mountains.
She was a loving mother to Nancy Dussault (George) of Truchas, NM, Thomas Pineault (Judy) of Auburn, NH, William Pineault (Sue) of Fairbanks, AK, Peter Pineault (Nanette) of Fairbanks, AK, Linda, (Lionel) Aubin of Manchester, NH, Margaret Brownell (John) of Ashburnham, MA, James Pineault (Aimee) of Wasilla, AK, Fred Pineault (Tori) of New Boston, NH Russell Pineault who passed away in 1985.
She will be missed by her 18 grandchildren, Timothy Dussault, Bethany McCracken, Amy Gilbert, Lisa Smith, Lori Rouleau, Keith Pineault, Justin Aubin, Joseph Aubin, Chris Brownell, Patrick Brownell, Alex Brownell, Katie Browell, Joshua Pineault, Jonathan Pineault, Marisa Pineault, and Sam Pineault, Lily McCracken, and Kaleb Rodrickc.
She leaves behind 7 beloved great-grandchildren, Jacob Gilbert, Colby Gilbert, Kendall Gilbert, Jack McCracken, Chloe Rouleau, Ethan Rouleau, and Mason Smith. Annette treasured and loved each one unconditionally.
She leaves behind her beloved sister, Jeanne Desrochers Ouellette (Vernon), sisters-in-law, Drene Desrochers, Claire Desrochers, and Gloria Desrochers, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers George Desrochers, Paul Desrochers, and Robert Desrochers.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, 4pm â 8pm, at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on on Tuesday, 10am, in Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester, NH.
