Anthony P. Cote

Anthony “Tony” Paul Cote passed away Monday, January 20th at the age of 39 after suffering from a lengthy series of health problems. He is survived by his parents Michael & Pamela Cote, sons Thomas Cote and Troy Cote-Ward, Troys partner Liz Mellen, his brother, confidant & best friend Phillip Cote, Phil’s wife Melody and their son Jasper and Grandmother “Mem” Joyce Aubin. 

He was born on February 19th, 1985 in Manchester, NH. After graduating from Manchester West High School he attended Ohio Tech in Cleveland. Tony loved playing pool, enjoyed camping up north and spending time at the beach. For the past 15 years Tony was self-employed as a website designer & SEO Specialist. He was also very well versed in world & US history and loved to show it off watching Jeopardy. He was very proud to be an American and could recite the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution by heart. “Don’t tread on me” were words he took to heart.

But what he was most proud of in life is his two sons Troy aged 24 & Thomas aged 9. He would brag about them every chance he could. Tony loved holidays & gatherings with his enormous family of aunts, uncles & cousins. And especially his grandparents that passed before, Jeanne “Mem” Cote & Gerald “Pep” Aubin. We’re sure he’s up there enjoying Mem Cote’s chocolate chip cookies and a long conversation with Pep Aubin about history and politics. He’ll finally meet his grandfathers Paul Spenard and Louis P. Cote, both of whom passed long ago.

Tony you’ll always be in our hearts. You left us much too soon but your pains and troubles are over, you’ve found peace. We love you.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held on Monday, January 27 from 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM, with service beginning at 5:30 PM, at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH.
