Anthony Edward Pellerito, 81, of Deerfield, NY, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, peacefully in Nashua, NH.
Anthony was born in Little Falls, NY, on July 9, 1944, the son of Anthony and Stella (Novogurski) Pellerito. He was raised and educated in Little Falls and was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 1962. Tony furthered his education, earning his bachelor’s degree in mathematics From Utica Collage, and a master’s degree From Rutger’s (Go RU!). On April 1, 1967, Anthony was united in marriage with his high school sweetheart, Joan Palisi, a loving and devoted union of 57 years. Anthony was employed as a Math Teacher at Whitesboro High School.
Anthony loved being out in nature, enjoying trout fishing, hunting, and all the forests, mountains and streams of the Adirondack Mountains had to experience. Tony loved spending time at the camp he and Joan built on Rondaxe Lake in Old Forge. They enjoyed many vacations with National Geographic Tours, visiting the Galapagos Islands, Machi Picchu, Alaska, and other great locations.
Mr. Pellerito is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Brenda Pellerito of Brookline, NH and Daniel and Holly Pellerito of New Orleans, LA; and six grandchildren, Alexander Pellerito, Sophia Pellerito, Henry Pellerito, Abigail Pellerito, Zachary Frediani and Tyler Frediani.
A Memorial Service in Honor of Anthony and Joan Pellerito will be held May 30, 2026, in Utica, NY, at Heintz Funeral Services, 408 Herkimer Road, 11am.
