Antoniette Memory

Antonietta M. Toni (Arena) Memory, 33, of Sommerville, MA passed away at the Elliot Hospital January 14, 2000 following a long illness. She was born in Boston, MA on August 20, 1966, the daughter of Paul and Maria (DeValle) Arena, Sr. She spent most of her life in the Boston and Sommerville, MA area and had resided in Florida before moving to Sommerville. She was a 1985 graduate of Sommerville High School. She was a CCD teacher and a volunteer at St. Joseph Church in Sommerville. Family members, in addition to her parents of Manchester, include her husband, Glen Memory; her son, Derek Memory of Sommerville; her paternal grandmother, Antonietta Arena of Hyde Park, MA; her maternal grandmother, Juanita DeValle of Lawrence, MA; five brothers, Gaetano Arena of Los Vegas, NV; Paul Arena, Jr of Quincy, MA, Carlos Arena of Hyde Park, MA, Jose Arena of Dedham, MA and Herminio Arena of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel.
