Following her grammar school years, she attended NH Accounting and Secretarial School, now Southern New Hampshire University, something in which she was very proud of.

Aphrodite prided herself as an academic, excelling in book keeping which served her well to help run and eventually own and operate her family's restaurant The Webster Restaurant, a staple in Manchester from 1928 until the early 1970's. She was a dedicated member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester where she served on several committees.

Aphrodite was preceded in death by her late husband Major General John Blatsos, along with her beloved daughter Elaine Blake, her twin brother Dr. Nicholas Bentas, brother Aristotle "Teddy" Bentas and her parents. She is survived by her two sons G. Philip Blatsos and wife Anita of Goffstown, NH and Michael Blatsos and his wife Debra of Pembroke, NH and her six grandchildren who lovingly knew her as "Yiayia" Matthew, Nicholas, Andrew, Christina, Whitney & Justin. She was also blessed to have seven great-grandchildren Evelyn, Julian, Dimitri, Alexander, Elijah, Mia and Lincoln. She also leaves behind three sisters Helen Benson, Nancy Dahlstrom and Amy DesRochers and many nieces, nephews & other family members whom she adored. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, cooking, traveling, gardening, watching the Red Sox, winters in Ft. Myers FL, playing cards and revolved her world around her family.

Aphrodite's family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the caregivers at Bel-Air Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH for their love, compassion and respect in her final years.
