Archie "Arnold" Wakefield Jr.

Archie "Arnold" Wakefield Jr., 76, of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, April 11^th, 2023. He was born on February 26^th, 1947, in Bangor, ME, the son of Archie A. Wakefield Sr. and Josephine (Wallace) Wakefield.

He attended high school in Millinocket, ME before attending college at Southern New Hampshire University. After college, Archie went on to work for the Internal Revenue Service.

Archie enjoyed photography, genealogy, relaxing on the couch watching TV and any game show, he had a passion for Rock N’ Roll and liked to travel.

He is predeceased by his parents; Archie and Josephine Wakefield, his sister; Pauline Bouchard.

Archie is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years; Ruth (McQueen) Wakefield, his brother-in-law; Guildus Bouchard, his nieces and nephews; Jody Bouchard, Nicholas Bouchard, and his wife, Emma, Melissa Hansen (Bouchard) and her husband, Mike, Patrick Bouchard and his significant other, Paul.

SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 22^nd, 2023, from 10AM to 12PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Chapel Service will be held immediately after at MT. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester, NH at 12:30PM.
