Armand E. Paquin, 74, of Bow died suddenly on January 17, 2005 at Concord Hospital. Mr. Paquin was born on February 3, 1930 in Bedford, NH, the son of the late Eugene and Lauriana (Mailhot) Paquin. He was a paratrooper for US Marine Corps. and served during the Korean Conflict. He spent most of his working career in the flooring industry and at one time worked for Blakes Creamery as a milkman. He was a member of Catholic War Veterans Post 1403 and American Legion Sweeney Post. Armand enjoyed reading and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. In his earlier years he enjoyed candlepin bowling. Armand was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Family members include: one son, Armand E.J. Paquin and his wife, Estelle of Princeton, TX; one daughter, Rita Hrycuna and her husband, Edward of Manchester six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Gerry Vachon of Manchester, Andy Vachon of FL, Leo Vachon of Manchester and Donald Vachon of KY; two sisters, Lorraine Morrissette of Bedford and Yvette Welch of Goffstown; and many nieces and nephews. Armand was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Morin) Paquin who died in 1999. In his life: he cherished his six grandchildren, Lori Goley, with whom he resided in Bow, Tammy Inman of TX, Shawn Adams of Manchester, Chris Paquin of TX, Nicole Adams of Manchester and Khaliah Morales of Manchester. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 1:00 until 4:00 PM and 6:00 until 7:00 PM with a Service at 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Burial will take place at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made for Memorial Masses at your local church in Armands honor.
