Armand L. Ruel, 73, of 7 Dart Street, Hooksett, died August 19, 2002 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. He was born in Manchester on May 10, 1929, the son of Honore and Merilda (Blais) Ruel and had been a lifelong area resident. He owned and operated New England Floor for twenty years until his retirement in 1996. He was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. He was the widower of Rita Y. (Pellerin) Ruel who died in February of this year. Family members include his daughter, Mrs. Fred (Suzanne) Miller of Hooksett; two granddaughters and two great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Due to construction at Ste. Marie Church, a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
