Armand R. Trudeau

ARMAND R. TRUDEAU GOFFSTOWN - Armand R. Trudeau, 71, died May 2, 2009 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, NH., after a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his parents and his only sibling and brother, Albert. He was born in Fitchburg, MA on November 12, 1937, and was predeceased by his parents. He spent the early portion of his life in the Bay State before moving to NH and settling with his wife Rosemary for the last thirty plus years. Known as a great short-order cook to patrons in the Northern Massachusetts area for the earlier part of his life, he later spent time as a guard at a Department of Corrections facility in Manchester, NH, alongside his wife. The most recent days of his life involved carrying customers around the area as a taxi driver, prior to his retirement earlier this year. Members of his family in addition to his wife Rosemary, include; his former wife Therese of Woonsocket, RI; sons, Raymond Trudeau, of Manchester; Shane Steeves of Goffstown; daughters, Pamela Ducharme of Oakland, RI, Suzanne Gagne of Johnston, RI; Denise Fournier, of Woonsocket, RI, Tammy Curtis of Weare, NH; and Pammy Leavitt of Manchester, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces, and a nephew. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 6, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and in the evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Trudeau.
