Arthur A. Archambault

Arthur A. Archambault, 79, of 146 Harrington Ave., died August 22, 2001 at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on June 16, 1922, the son of Alfred and Cecilia (Poissant) Archambault and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He had been employed by Colonial Supply Company for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council 5260. He was also a member of the VFW, American Legion and CWV. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Theresa Church. Family members include his wife of 59 years, Rachel (Provencher) Archambault; a daughter, Doris Forest of Manchester; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother, Francis Archambault of Hooksett; a sister, Rita Caldwell of Amherst; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
