Arthur R. Bussiere, 72, of 145 Garden Drive, died March 16, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Derry on August 7, 1930 and been a Manchester area resident for most of his life. He was the son of the late Eddiemore and Coranna (Cournoyer) Bussiere. He was a World War II Marine Corps Veteran. He owned and operated New Hampshire Security Guard Service for 35 years and was the former Deputy Sheriff for Grafton County for six years under the late Herb Ash. He was also a police officer for various towns through New Hampshire during his long time career in law enforcement. He was active in many of the police and law enforcement associations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Leclerc who died in 2002. Family members include his wife of 37 years, B. Evelyn (Philobotte) (Leclerc) Bussiere; four sons; Arthur T. Bussiere of CA, Richard Leclerc of Weare, Raymond Leclerc of Deering and Ronald Leclerc of Weare; four daughters, Susan Dupuis of Dunbarton, Sanda Duquette of Manchester, Debra Williams of NC and Laura Trosper of NC; 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; four brothers, Fredrick Bussiere of New Orleans, LA, Albert Bussiere of Manchester, Rene Bussiere of Hooksett and Ronald Bussiere of Manchester; three sisters, Irene Burgess, Mrs. Paul (Arline) Boucher and Cecile Bussiere all of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:30. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
