Arthur A. ''Archie'' Francoeur, 79, of 383 Kimball Street, died June 16, 2002, at Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester, NH on October 8, 1922, the son of the late Alfred and Adele (Shiney) Francoeur and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran. Archie was a barber for many years and also worked for the State of NH-Welfare Department. After his retirement he worked for St. Anselm's College. Mr. Francoeur was a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery. He has been very active in square dancing since 1965. He was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church, the Jutras Post # 54, the American Legion Post 79 and the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Family members include his son, David Francoeur of Goffstown, a daughter Diane Plourde of Manchester,five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a half brother John Dumensil of Manchester, several nephews and nieces. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemtery.
